In the past few years, the vintage guitar market has hit all time highs. Vintage Fender Stratocaster and Telecaster guitars have been know to sell for 50,000 dollars plus. Most people have heard the stories of someone finding a dusty old guitar in their garage and finding out it’s worth 30,000 dollars and although they are becoming less frequent, they are still out there. This site is designed as a jumping off point for everyone from someone who is just curious as to what all the fuss is about to the Fender Stratocaster enthusiast. On this site you will find all the information you need on current prices for new and vintage models and general historical information about the Fender Stratocaster that will be helpful to someone looking to buy or sell a guitar.

This is another Fender forum however, it is independently run and as a result is not as heavily moderated. This is where you can find unbiased information about Fender equipment from people who either own it or have owned it in the past. Fairly standard forum rules apply (keep bad language to a minimum, no racial slurs etc) and you will need to join to post new threads.

This is a site for the most hardcore guitar geek. On this site you can join Fender related discussions on almost any topic from something simple like, “Where can I get…?”, to “Resonant Strats”. There is a wealth of information on this site that will please even the most knowledgeable guitar nut. You have to join to post new threads but it only takes a minute and then you can join the fun! Just check how heated some of the discussions get. These guys/girls are passionate!

Vintageandrare.com is a site where you can auction your vintage instruments online. At the time of posting they had a good selection of vintage gear and once again, it would be worthwhile checking often to see if they have new stock. These prices are mostly in Euros so be careful when looking at the prices.

This site sells and specialises in vintage, custom shop and master built Fender guitars. Custom shop Fender guitars are often a one off, unique instrument, fitted with the best accessories Fender has to offer. Because these guitars are often unique or have very low production numbers, they can make a great investment. Having, said this however you will pay for the privilege of having a unique Fender so don’t be too surprised at the price tag.

This site contains just about everything you could want to know about Fender guitars. On this site you can look at or buy books that have been written about Strats or check out the latest listing of Strats on e-bay. There is also an exhaustive list of the year and models of all Stratocasters with information on all of them. Chances are, if you can’t find what you are looking for in relation to Fender on this site, you won’t find it anywhere.

Contained on this site is some of the best information that I could find on the Internet about Fender Guitar. This site would be particularly useful for those who want to find out more about their guitar. There is good information on all the vintage models including where to find the serial numbers and also what they mean.
